In Canada, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) is a registered national charity that “defend[s] the constitutional freedoms of Canadians through litigation and education.” During the most fundamental moments of the COVID era, as their caseload and public profile grew, JCCF engaged us to modernize their brand and identity to better reflect the prominence of their cases and the calibre of law they practise.

JCCF wanted to retain Lady Justice from their legacy mark, but reimagine her for flexible, contemporary use. We developed a crisp, reproducible crest icon that unifies three core symbols—the figure of Lady Justice, the scales of justice, and a Canadian motif—delivering a system that works cleanly across digital, print, and broadcast.
Goal
Post-launch, the redesigned website dramatically improved clarity and wayfinding. Where the old site often overwhelmed visitors with dense information and complex navigation, the new experience prioritizes usability and hierarchy—resulting in a significant increase in traffic and time on key pages, and fewer support inquiries.
Result
Beyond the brand, identity, and web refresh, we also produced the full promotional suite and a dedicated microsite for JCCF’s 2025 Freedom Awards dinners—critical fundraising events for this non-profit. The campaign assets helped drive record demand, culminating in sold-out dinners across all three Canadian venues in record time.
